Before You Message Us
Do I lose my existing Airbnb bookings or reviews?
No — you keep every platform you’re already on. Most owners run us alongside Airbnb, not instead of it, and keep calendars in sync through iCal so a booking on one side blocks the date everywhere else.
What about taxes on what I earn?
The income is yours and the reporting responsibility is yours, exactly as with any rental income — we don’t add a hidden fee on top, and we don’t offer tax advice. What we do promise is no surprise commission eating into the number you see land in your account.
Who handles guest messages and problems during a stay?
You do, directly — that’s the point of "direct." Our local team is there if you want backup, but guests are talking to the real owner, not a platform inbox with a 24-hour SLA.
What if my property doesn’t get booked as often as on Airbnb?
Fair question — we’re a smaller audience today than Airbnb’s. Most owners list here in addition to their existing channels, so it costs one flat monthly fee to also catch every direct-booking guest who’d rather not pay Airbnb’s guest fee, with nothing to lose if a month is quiet.
